Plants that bite back at Cambridge University Botanic Garden

This course, new to our programme, offers participants an enthralling foray into the world of carnivorous plants. Starting with a general introduction in the classroom, Dawn will then lead you over to the glasshouses for a visit to our carnivorous plant collection. Back in the classroom there will be a short talk on Darwin and his carnivorous correspondents, and the course will end with a dissection of Sarracenia traps. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions throughout.
