Singer/songwriter Luke Jackson is a young man with prodigious talent. At just 17 years old he has an amazing voice with depth, texture, power, control and volume far beyond his years.

Part of V I S U A L I S E, Anglia Ruskin's public arts programme, ‘Of Sleeping Birds’ is a brand new public art project by artists Circumstance. After dark from June 18-23 the streets of Cambridge will be filled with glistening and delicate strands of music as a mobile symphony crosses the city. ‘Of Sleeping Birds’ invites you to pick up a hand crafted wooden speaker box from a secret location in Cambridge, then take a twilight journey as the box in your hand becomes one player in a walking orchestra, harmonising with those being carried by others in your group as you walk. You don't need special skills, equipment or gadgets of your own to take part, just book as many places as you want via www.ofsleepingbirds.com and turn up at the location emailed to you. 9th Annual Technology Ventures Conference at Robinson College

The theme of this year's conference is "Innovation in an Uncertain World", with coverage of 4 topics: Cloud Computing, Healthcare Innovation, Global Investment and Cleantech. It's an all-day event featuring speakers from around the world (including Julie Meyer of Ariadne Capital and David S. Rose of Gust), moderated panel discussions, business workshops, startup showcase (introducing startup companies from Cambridge and further afield), company exhibitions, lunch and refreshments, and plenty of networking opportunities. The 2011 TVC attracted 400 delegates from all across the UK, and from 11 different countries, ranging from investors, to blue chip organisations, start-ups and students. In all, 17 different universities and over 100 companies were represented there, and we are expecting a similar attendance at this year's event.
