Alley Cats posted on 1 November 2011

Alley Cats is the name of the latest clothing shop to open its doors in the heart of Cambridge.  Located on King Street, just a short walk from the Cambridge bus station and historic city centre – Alley Cats is a clothing shop that focuses on alternative and Rockabilly styles for men and women.

Cambridge has been in need of a truly genuine alternative clothing shop for many years and can now offer one of the most original stores you are likely to find outside of London.

Alley Cats owner Coby has spent much of his life either in and around the Cambridge area or on the West Coast of America, where his passion for everything Rockabilly, Alternative and Tattoo print has developed and inspired him to open his very own alternative clothing shop in Cambridge.

As soon as you walk through the doors at Alley Cats you will be in for a very warm welcome from either Coby himself or one of his staff members – Alley Cats has a relaxed and laid back atmosphere, offering a personal shopping service that harks back to days gone by and the kind of atmosphere you would find in a record shop or musical instrument store. You will usually find Coby chatting to customers about his latest range of clothing, which include international designs from Collectif and Too Fast among others.

Collectif is a superb range of 40s and 50s vintage inspired dresses and accessories, worn by Rockabilly Dolls from London to the USA – while Too Fast offers men’s and women’s punk and tattoo print clothing, accessories, shoes and more.

Whatever alternative clothing styles you’re into, the likelihood is that you’ll find something to your taste at Alley Cats – whether it be hoodies, t-shirts, leather jackets or shirts for the guys or dresses, cardigans, skirts, bags and belts for the gals – Alley Cats is the place to pay a visit.

For more information, give Coby a call at Alley Cats on 07432 155679 or visit their Facebook Page.
