Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre is Cambridge’s central destination for a massive variety of sports and fitness activities, and has been an integral part of life here for generations.

It offers excellent facilities and opportunities for sports-lovers of almost any age and ability, all under one roof, in a convenient location in the very heart of the city. Among the indoor sports offered at Kelsey Kerridge are squash (with three courts available), table tennis, archery, indoor cricket, while the main sports hall is used throughout the week for football, basketball, badminton, volleyball or numerous other sports. The centre also has one of the area’s best indoor climbing walls, offering experienced climbers or complete beginners the chance to practise on more than 200 square metres of challenging wall space.

In addition Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre offers a wide menu of organised fitness classes, mostly on a first-come, first-served basis, ranging from boxercise and circuit training, to yoga, hi-lo aerobics, steps and Zumba. It’s also a great alternative for children’s parties, with a number of multisport packages available for a special occasion sporty kids will always remember!

Outlooks Gyms
Outlooks Gyms is probably the most unique location in Cambridge to take a workout. Situated on the top floor of Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre, Outlooks has sensational views through its floor-to-ceiling windows across Parker’s Piece and the historic city centre beyond, which might just make you feel like you’re walking on air while you’re training hard.

Magnificent views aside, Outlooks is also one of the best-equipped fitness centres in the city, offering users a complete, all-round package, with state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment – including treadmills, cross trainers, Arc trainers, rowing machines and steppers – as well as a full complement of resistance weights machines, including the popular VibroGym. The experienced Outlooks team are always on hand to assist you with the equipment, or create a specially-tailored exercise plan, and after your workout you can have a deserved recovery session in the sauna, or take the plunge in their roof terrace hot tub.

A flexible range of membership and payment packages are available at Outlooks Gyms, with three-month, six-month or annual memberships for adults, students and seniors and particularly favourable rates if you pay by monthly direct debit. Direct Debit and Short Term Outlooks Memberships entitle you to unlimited use of the gyms, including sauna, and hot tub, from 9am to 11pm 7 days a week, together with membership of the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre selection of Free Fitness Classes is also included in your membership. If you prefer to use the gym on a more occasional basis, you can simply turn up and pay as you go, with daily rates available.

Free Weights Gym
In addition to Outlooks Gyms, Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre is also home to the longest-established Free Weights Gym in the Cambridge area, ideal for all forms of weight training. The Free Weights Gym boasts 30 pieces of top of the range CYBEX equipment, various machines, and 2.5 tons of free weights, with dumbbells up to 75kg. There is also a Power Cage with olympic training platform, cardiovascular equipment for warm-ups or conditioning, and a friendly, supportive atmosphere with qualified instructors always on hand. Again, a number of flexible membership and pay-as-you-go rates are available including combined membership for the Free Weights Gym and Outlooks.
