Bryony Kimmings: 7 Day Drunk posted on 1 July 2011

Work in progress showing of comedian/performer/experimentalist Bryony Kimmings’ latest concept. Bryony is visiting the Junction on Friday 15th to explore the links between alcohol and creativity, as a practice run for her Edinburgh Fringe Festival slots later in the year. Full-length work, 7 Day Drunk, is created in a 7 day state of intoxication, in collaboration with an impressive array of characters: a documentary filmmaker, neuroscientist and psychologist. Whilst it may sound a little bizarre, Bryony’s quirky style is a big hit, described by TimeOut as “One of the funniest, most charming things I’ve seen in an age”. See it to believe it.
