Kismet Therapy Rooms

Kismet is not only the place to go if you’re looking for interesting world products but is also the perfect destination for spiritual rejuvenation and beauty therapy needs. Kismet have two therapy rooms available – the first is located next door to The Grafton store in Cambridge and the other can be found on the High Street in Newmarket – a short journey out of Cambridge on the A14.

Kismet’s Cambridge therapy rooms have been open since November 2010 and their Newmarket therapy rooms since April 2011. From these spaces Kismet offer a quite incredible range of health, beauty and complimentary therapies, including massage therapies, spiritual readings, body shaping, energy healing, shamanic healing and a whole host more. Pay them a visit and one of the team will be more than happy to discuss the therapeutic benefits available through their treatments.

Garra Rufa Fish Pedicure

As an unusual addition to both therapy rooms; Kismet have the increasingly popular Garra Rufa fish pedicure to offer. These small fish have been used for centuries to treat a variety of skin complaints. Already popular in New York, Paris and Tokyo the treatment is now taking the UK by storm, featuring on TV shows such as ‘This Morning’, ‘Loose Women’ and ‘Don’t tell the bride’.

An organic alternative to a standard pedicure, the unique skin treatment massages and removes dead skin from the feet using the Garra Rufa fish also known as ‘Doctor Fish’. The fish have tiny toothless suction-cupped mouths that enable them to gently lift away any dead skin, leaving the healthy skin to grow. The treatment is totally painless and users experience a tingling sensation across their feet relaxing the entire body - the results are silky smooth revitalised feet.
Paula, said: “We welcome all ages to come and experience this totally organic treatment and see the benefits for themselves. Not only will the treatment revitalise your feet but it’s the perfect way to relax away stress at the end of a hard day. Our spa will have six spa systems all fitted with individual filters, meaning our water stays fresh and clean all day every day”.

The Garra Rufa are used to help treat patients suffering from various skin disorders, including psoriasis and eczema, since the fish will eat and remove any dead skin. The treatment costs £15 for 15 minutes. A course of four treatments costs £45. Children are also welcome with a cost of £10 for under 12’s.

Kismet are pleased to announce their therapy rooms at 59 Eden Hall, Grafton Centre will be moving to a larger premises at 70 Eden Hall, Grafton Centre.

Cat, Paula and the whole Kismet team look forward to opening shortly and welcoming you to their new home…
